Indivisible Illinois is a part of a statewide and nationwide network of local groups working together to affect change at every level of our government. We do this by fighting for policies and candidates that reflect our values on issues such as a living minimum wage, quality, affordable healthcare, public education and ensuring that our climate is protected for generations to come.
Our power is in our grassroots organizing. We follow the principles of distributive organizing which calls for a system that encourages information, resources and actions to be shared widely.
Indivisible IL9 is inspired by Laura Chow Reeve of Radical Roadmaps, @radicalroadmaps and in light of the COVID19 pandemic, has incorporated discussions about mutual aid in their regular meetings.
