Indivisible IL9’s Antiracist Work Group (AWG) topic this week focused on Deb Haaland. At this time last year, the group talked about the nomination of Deb Haaland as Secretary of Interior. Since confirmed, Secretary Haaland is the first Indigenous person to serve as a cabinet secretary.

The AWG compiled a giant list of book recommendations and voted on what books to read together in 2022.
12 books were chosen to read and discuss on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 10am in 2022.
