Indivisible IL9’s Antiracist Work Group (AWG) topic this week focused on Deb Haaland. At this time last year, the group talked about the nomination of Deb Haaland as Secretary of Interior. Since confirmed, Secretary Haaland is the first Indigenous person to serve as a cabinet secretary.

President Joe Biden signed the more than $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan into law Monday, November 15, 2021. [CNBC]  Interior Secretary Deb Haaland on Sunday, Dec. 12 praised Biden’s infrastructure package, saying the law makes a historic investment in water and drought resilience.
