In Antiracism

Indivisible Illinois advocates for antiracist policies and endorses leadership who are willing to fight for a progressive agenda in our government. White Women’s Anti-Racist Accountability Group (WWARA) is among the many local groups Indivisible works with to listen, learn and share with others in order to better ourselves as individuals as we work together in solidarity for a more just tomorrow.

Event: November 2, 2020

White Women’s Anti-Racist Accountability Group (WWARA) is thrilled to present Umi Grigsby, Chief of Policy for City Clerk of Chicago Anna Valencia and author of the upcoming book, Empowered: Reforming a Dismissive Health Care System. While at the Clerk’s Office, Umi has spearheaded fine-forgiveness programs, led the Clerk’s initiative on safety for women and girls, and served on the City’s race equity COVID taskforce.

On the first Monday of every month,  join WWARA members to hear from an expert speaker regarding working as anti-racists in 2020.  Join WWARA here. Speaker schedules and all WWARA dates can be found here.
